Perugia, the green heart of Italy, is one of Seattle’s 20 official Sister Cities, offering a vibrant cultural connection. As the capital of the Umbria region, next to Tuscany, Perugia is a hub of history, art, and tradition. Through our Sister City relationship, we create opportunities for cultural exchange, providing ways to experience each other's heritage and deepen the bond between our communities.
By becoming a member of the Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association, you’ll experience Italian art, culture, language, and history in a way that is authentic, educational and fun. Our members help create artist exchange programs, volunteer at the SIFF Italian film festival, learn about Italian food and wine, improve their language skills through scholarships and conversation groups, and meet like-minded individuals.
